Identify a manufacturing setup. For a typical product in that organisation, map the supply chain from the supplier vendor side right to the distribution side. This includes finding the vendor, the vendor country, reasons for importing from tht country, mode of transportation, economies effected through transportation and storage, port of despatch, port of entry in India, mode of transportation, storage and distribution, including last mile.
This will give the student enough exposure to the supply chain, including international logistics, 3PL, $PL etc..
